11th Annual Mt. Moriah Cemetery Lantern Lighting Ceremony

Where: Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 686 Mt. Moriah Drive, East side, by the pond
The Union Township Board of Trustees and Mt. Moriah Cemetery are excited to sponsor this free event which promises to be a unique evening of beauty and remembrance for the entire community. You can prepare your personalized lantern by inscribing your own words of love and remembrance. All supplies will be provided. You may wish to personalize your lantern by bringing pictures of your loved ones. Following a complimentary dinner, Sponsored by Dodds Memorials, we will gather at the shoreline to share a simple but beautiful ceremony. The candles are lit and the lanterns are set upon the water to carry their messages.

Veterans Day Event

Wright State University’s Veterans and Military Center and Dodds Memorials invite you to a very special Veterans Day event.
The Veterans Day Champions Tour will host area veterans and their families to celebrate Veterans Day with a tour of our region’s most beautiful Veterans Memorials.
This celebration of our nation’s servicemen and women will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 8:30 to 12:00 at Wright State’s Veterans and Military Center. Veterans and their families will join together for a bus tour to honor, celebrate, and learn more about our region’s rich history of service to our nation.
